Prodigal

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

Welcome to Prodigal's submission manager. From October 15 through December 31, we will be reading submissions for Issue #4. This will be our first online-only issue and our first to be thematically open

General Guidelines:

Please submit from three to six poems totaling no more than 10 pages, or one prose piece totaling no more than 20 pages. We do accept simultaneous submissions, and we prefer you identify these in the cover letter.

Translations are welcome. Linguistic artifacts of uncertain definition and origin are sure to pique our interest. If you have a weird cross-genre piece, or one that balances itself between lit and visual art, we'll read it with great enthusiasm. And if you're thinking of submitting a short story, the less conventional the better. As for interviews, please query us first.

Prodigal's response time may vary, but we aim to get back to you within ten weeks of your submission.

Some Don'ts:

*Please don't upload more than one submission at a time
*Don't send us work that you've already published
*Don't inquire about the status of your submission until at least three months have passed
*Don't forget to let us know if your work has been accepted elsewhere

Thanks - and we look forward to reading your work!
